I have switch the DMR bridge over to TGIF network where I now have a TGIF talk group channel. TG29332
To connect to the Alaska morning net through DMR. Just program the TG29332 into your radio using your CPS software. If you are using TGIF as your primary gateway in your hotspot.
If you are using Brandmeister, then you will have to add the prefix 5 to the numbers. So you would add the talk group as 5029332. I am also assuming you have both the Brandmeister and TGIF networks turned on in your hotspot. Once you have it program into your radio. Now you have another way to check into the Alaska morning net.
If for any reason the audio from the DMR side starts sounding bad, I will drop the link to the AMN. Also since I have been on DMR there is a lot of folks out there that has very very loud audio. This will not be tolerated on the AMN network. So make sure your audio is not loud, specially to the point of it sounding like it’s over driven. Check your mic setting in your radio level 3 is about the perfect spot. some has theirs cranked all the up to 5, which is way to much. So turn it down. You have been warned. further warnings will result in you being banned from the DMR TGIF talk group for AMN through my sysop page on the TGIF network. Until such time you turn down your mic audio.
Also any phone app’s that allows access to DMR are not welcome. Too many audio problems stem from those.
